University Student Sports Clubs 'Team UoP' Turn to Volunteering
The University of Portsmouth and UPSU student sports clubs volunteer and co-ordinate campaigns to help the local community and further afield.
As we entered lockdown in November 2020, students from sports clubs managed by Sport and Recreation and The Union, collectively known as Team UoP, focussed their time on raising and giving. As all sport and activities were put on hold during the lockdown, students were keen to use their time to give back to the community and organised a number of projects under the 'Team UoP Together @ Home' campaign.
