Travel
For general travel around the city, including the student bus running throughout the week, e-scooter and bike usage on campus, check out our student guide to getting to campus and around the city - including the free University bus.
U2 bus service for students
The U2 bus service runs during parts of the year to help students get from the city centre campus to Langstone sports pitches.
If you get the U1 university bus instead, you’ll need to get off at the Prince Albert Road bus stop and walk down Locksway Road. Langstone Sports Site is about a 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop.
E-scooter stations
There are e-scooter stations located right next to Ravelin Sports Centre, on the corner of Burnaby Road, next to HMS Temeraire. There is also another station on St. Michaels Road.
If you are hoping to travel to Langstone Sports Site via e-scooter, there are stations located on Locksway Road, near the Thatched House and also at the other end of the bus lane on Sanderling Road.
Should you choose to use e-scooters, please remember to read all of the safety precautions you should be taking, these can be found on the Voi app.
