The University of Portsmouth Women’s Football and Futsal Club is a welcoming and fun environment, open to all abilities. We have two football teams competing in BUCS leagues, a third team competing in a local league, plus our successful futsal team for those willing to try something new, fun and engaging.

Give Me Sport

Try out our 32 Team UOP Sports Clubs at Give Me Sport, Thursday 17 - Sunday 20 September. You can try out both casual taster sessions and trials for our competitive teams, with no previous experience needed and no commitment to sign up straight away.

Through your Give Me Sport ticket you can also try out Ravelin Sport Centre's swimming pool and fitness classes.

Club memberships 2026/27

  • Football and Futsal Compete: £155

Competitive Club Membership, covering training, coaching, competition entry & equipment. 

  • Futsal Compete: £125

Competitive Club Membership, covering training, coaching, competition entry & equipment. Futsal only.

  • Development: £100

Development Club Membership, covering training sessions, internal competition & equipment.

Club memberships for 2026/27 are available from Saturday 1 August.

Please note, for most Compete memberships, you will need to be selected for a team via the club's trials during our Give Me Sport event.

Development

Training Sessions

  • Monday 8.00pm - 10.00pm (Football Training)
  • Friday 7.30pm - 9.00pm (Futsal Training)

Fixtures

Home Football fixtures will take place at Langstone Sports Site on Wednesdays throughout the course of the year and away games will be held at various other universities.

Home Futsal fixtures will take place at Langstone Sports Site on Saturdays throughout the course of the year and away games will be held at various other universities.

Play Memberships

Lots of our Team UOP Sports Clubs offer Play Memberships, a more casual way to play without committing to a year membership. Most Play Memberships are a one-off payment of £70 for the year (with some exceptions).
