Keeping you safe during your workout

Fitness classes aren’t just for those wearing 80’s style leotards (keep those for your nights out). Fitness classes are for beginners and experts alike, athletes and well, anyone. We have a wide range of fitness classes available, check out our timetable below and get booked in for a class.
Currently to comply with social distancing, government and sport body guidelines we are operating a reduced timetable. We also have a reduced capacity to allow you to exercise safely. Please check out our guidelines to give you and others the best workout possible. Classes can be booked on the day only on a first come first served basis.

COVID-19 update
HIIT back against the lockdown and let’s get back in our studios. We’re really excited to see you again, it’ll be great to see your faces when we tell you burpees are next. For those of you who have been following our Facebook live classes, we’re overwhelmed with your support. Right, let’s get down to the details.
- Fitness classes will need to be pre booked before you arrive at our facilities. Classes can be booked on the day through our mobile app UOP Sport or by booking online.
- Class times may vary to avoid a crossover of members with a 15 minute gap between classes to allow for cleaning and members leaving.
- We know you’ll be keen to get back in, but we’ve reduced class capacities to allow for social distancing. We’ve got floor markers in place to guide you, no more late comers squeezing in at the back. If you’re on a tick you’re good to go, if not you’ll be asked to go.
- We'll be cleaning equipment in between classes, just make sure you've used the hand sanitiser before entering the studio.
- If you can, please bring your own yoga/pilates mat and ensure it is cleaned regularly. We’ll still have some for customer use.
- When you arrive for your class, please arrive ‘Workout Ready’ no more than 5 minutes before your class. Following the one-way system, head straight to your class (check your booking on the app for the studio you need to head to). You do not need to sign in or collect a ticket for now, the instructor will register your attendance prior to the class starting.
- Please respect our instructors before, during and after each class. As with their different styles some instructors may have different requirements for their own safety. They will be setting up equipment before you arrive to minimise movement around the studio.
