Championing student sport through leadership, inclusivity, and community as the voice of Team UoP
The Team UoP Exec is a dedicated group of five students who collaborate with the Sports Experience Team to support and enhance all aspects of university sports clubs, including welfare, performance, fundraising, and more. Their primary aims and objectives are to represent all students involved in sport at the University of Portsmouth, ensuring that the needs, rights, and aspirations of Team UoP members are communicated effectively to Sport and Recreation. They work closely with Team UoP clubs and Sport and Recreation to foster growth and development in all areas of student sport. Additionally, the Exec team delivers campaigns and events that enrich the student experience and strives to make all sports at Portsmouth inclusive and safe for everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, or disability, by cultivating a strong and welcoming Team UoP community.

To be on the 2025-26 Team UOP Executive Committee, you'll need to be a registered student for the 2025-26 academic year and have at least one year of experience being on a Team UOP Sports Club committee.
You can play an active role in the continued development of sport at the University of Portsmouth. If you have enjoyed sport at the University of Portsmouth so much that you want to develop it to the best it can be, these are the roles for you. Develop your CV, enhance your employability and stand out from the crowd in job interviews with real impact across a range of areas. Play your part in developing the Team UoP community and supporting our students and our clubs to reach their potential. Ideas are one thing, bringing them to life is what these roles are about.

Lydia deals with the content creation of the Team UOP Instagram and TikTok account alongside supporting clubs with all things media and publicity.

Georgia deals with the promotion of welfare support for our sports clubs by educating and signposting committee members. Meg works closely with the media officers to promote mental and physical welfare awareness posts on our social media.
