Championing student sport through leadership, inclusivity, and community as the voice of Team UoP
The Team UoP Exec is a dedicated group of five students who collaborate with the Sports Experience Team to support and enhance all aspects of university sports clubs, including welfare, performance, fundraising, and more. Their primary aims and objectives are to represent all students involved in sport at the University of Portsmouth, ensuring that the needs, rights, and aspirations of Team UoP members are communicated effectively to Sport and Recreation. They work closely with Team UoP clubs and Sport and Recreation to foster growth and development in all areas of student sport. Additionally, the Exec team delivers campaigns and events that enrich the student experience and strives to make all sports at Portsmouth inclusive and safe for everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, or disability, by cultivating a strong and welcoming Team UoP community.
