This 2.5-hour workshop is designed to explore practical, accessible ways to manage stress, anxiety and feelings of overwhelm, using simple tools inspired by yoga, breathwork, somatic practices, self-acupressure, reflexology and relaxation.
We will begin by exploring how stress and overwhelm can affect both the body and mind, and how we can become more aware of the physical and emotional signs that we may be feeling stressed or overstimulated. Rather than trying to eliminate stress, the workshop will focus on developing simple tools that can help us pause, regulate and create a greater sense of ease in everyday life.
You will be introduced to gentle somatic movement and yoga-based practices designed to release physical tension and bring greater awareness to the body. We will also explore breathwork techniques to help soften and slow the body and mind, alongside simple self-acupressure and reflexology-inspired techniques that can be practised independently at home.
There will also be time at the end for questions, discussion and sharing, allowing you to explore how these practices could become part of your own daily routine.
