This 2.5-hour workshop is designed to take you deeper into the foundations of yoga, combining traditional yogic knowledge with a clear and accessible approach.
We will begin with a short introduction to yoga beyond physical practice, exploring the 8 Limbs of Yoga and how this ancient philosophy can be integrated into modern daily life, both on and off the mat.
The main focus of this workshop will be asana (physical postures). We will break down key foundational poses such as Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Facing Dog), Urdhva Mukha Svanasana (Upward Facing Dog) and Chaturanga Dandasana (Four-Limbed Staff Pose), postures that appear frequently in classes and are essential to practice with awareness to help prevent injury and build strength.
You will also be guided step by step through more advanced postures, including Bakasana (Crow Pose), Astavakrasana (Eight-Angle Pose) and Sirsasana (Headstand), with options and progressions offered to suit all levels.
We will then bring everything together into a guided practice, allowing you to integrate what you’ve learned and experience the postures with more awareness, confidence, and flow.
