Looking for a fun way to get fit, meet new people, and take a break from the week? Then our Lunchtime Community Netball is for you!
Our friendly Netball lunchtime sessions are open to everyone - members, non-members, students, UOP staff and Portsmouth community, whether you’re completely new, a bit rusty, or already play regularly.
Each session, we aim for 14-20 players so we can enjoy a relaxed, one-hour game. There’s no pressure, just plenty of laughter, teamwork, and a good bit of exercise to round off your week.
A bit of history
Staff Netball began around 2009 and continued to run successfully until 2020. After a five-year break, we’re excited to bring it back, and we can’t wait to see some new (and familiar!) faces on court. What started as a UOP Staff Netball is now bigger, as we'd not only like UOP staff to get involved, but everyone else as well - whether you're a student, Portsmouth local or visiting someone, join us!
Alec from Finance said, "Since starting to play Staff Netball last year, I have enjoyed challenging myself and improving my GD skills physically and mentally against other team members and being part of a team".
