Get involved in our FREE fitness classes, gym classes and sports sessions

Exam season is looming and we are fully aware that it can be a stressful time. However, it’s important that as well as revising, you are taking time out for yourself to avoid becoming overwhelmed. This is where Stressless week comes into play. Our sports offering will be running from Tuesday 3 - Sunday 8 May. In partnership with the Students’ Union, we have put on a range of fitness classes and PLAY sessions free of charge for all students. You can find all of the sessions and activities that the Union are offering on the Union website. If you are interested in getting involved in our free fitness classes and sports sessions, keep reading.

Sport and general exercise is the perfect way to clear your mind after intense study sessions and will hopefully make the exam period a little more ‘stressless’. You don’t need to spend hours on end exercising to clear your mind, most of our classes can be done in the same amount of time as it takes to watch an episode of Heartstopper on Netflix. Although our PLAY sessions are slightly longer, they will give you the opportunity to try something new, socialise and meet other students you may not have otherwise met. So, the choice is completely yours.

You can attend as many of our sessions as you like, however, in order to secure your place for each of the sessions, you will need to pop into St Paul's Gym, or call us on 023 9284 5555. Staff will then add you to the system and book you into the sessions you wish to attend. Regardless of your ability or previous experience, any student can attend, so it’s the perfect time to try something new.
