Calling all University of Portsmouth students, active or not—this is your moment to shine! The British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Student Active Wellbeing Survey is now live, and it’s your chance to represent our university on a national stage.
We came 33rd in the BUCS table in 2023-24 but let’s work together to sit proudly at the top of the BUCS Student Active Wellbeing Survey. We aim to have 500 students from all areas of the university complete the survey to help shape the future of sports nationwide and within the university. Let’s show the UK what we’re made of by having the most responses to the survey! Together, we can win this.
How to Participate
The survey asks questions about your wellbeing, activity patterns, skills, and how you chose our university. It’s quick, easy, and ensures your voice is heard. Plus, your data will only be shared with us anonymously, if you choose.
Why should you take part?
This survey isn’t just for sports enthusiasts or gym-goers—it’s for everyone. Whether you’re a regular at Ravelin Sports Centre or haven’t tried any activities yet, your voice matters. By filling out the survey, you’ll help us:
- Improve your experience: Your responses will guide us in shaping our sports and wellbeing offerings to better meet your needs.
- Benchmark nationally: The data will allow us to compare our university’s performance against the national average in our annual reviews, helping us continue to raise the bar.
- Highlight the importance of wellbeing: Your input contributes to national advocacy for the positive impact of active lifestyles on student wellbeing.
- Demonstrate the impact of health, fitness and wellbeing at the University of Portsmouth: Your input will allow us to compare our own activities with other universities and offer more enhanced services across the university.
