Take your training to the next level with our Strength & Conditioning Master Classes - a series of practical, small-group sessions led by our Head of Strength & Conditioning. They're designed to introduce more athletic and performance-focused training methods, helping you develop skills that go beyond traditional gym-based resistance training.
These are standalone sessions, so you don't need to attend all three. Simply choose the sessions that best align with your training goals and interests.

Sessions run in the gym performance area (back 4 platforms), with a capacity of 8 per session, from 12.00-1.00pm.

The Sessions
Week 1: Introduction to Olympic Lifting & Key Lifts
Learn the foundations of Olympic lifting and the techniques behind some of the most effective power-development exercises. This session focuses on movement mechanics, lifting technique and the key principles required to perform Olympic-style lifts safely and efficiently.
Week 2: Introduction to Plyometrics & Ballistic Training
Explore explosive training methods designed to improve power production and athletic performance. This session covers jumping and landing mechanics, lower-body plyometric exercises, and ballistic upper-body movements to help develop speed and explosiveness.
Week 3: Introduction to Athletic Training
Experience a full-body athletic training session designed by our Strength & Conditioning team. You'll learn how to structure training that develops athletic qualities such as power, movement efficiency and performance outputs, and understand how this differs from traditional resistance training.
